Desert Clinic Pain Institute and Summit Institute’s Chief Medical Officer Will Speak on Alternative Pain Management in Los Angeles This Week

Irvine, Calif – Renowned pain management physician Tobias Moeller-Bertram, M.D., will discuss the multidisciplinary approach in treating complex pain as an effective way to reduce U.S. opioid dependency.  Moeller-Bertram, the chief medical officer for the Desert Clinic Pain Institute, the Summit Institute, and the Center of Excellence will present in Los Angeles, Nov. 15, 16 and 17.

Addressing the Opioid Epidemic: The Desert Clinic Pain Institute Model 

Dr. Tobias Moeller-Bertram’s address will highlight the nation’s opioid epidemic and use of the Desert Clinic Pain Institute’s multidisciplinary pain management model of treatment.  The focus will be on this unique approach to providing holistic care, risk stratifying patients, deploying targeted interventions to individuals based on their risk, and preliminary evaluation results of the model. A questions and answer session will follow.
